affiliated to any other organisation. The principal consultant for ECS is
Martin Kane. Martin is a graduate and professionally qualified engineer whose
experience within the electronics security field of intruder alarms, access
control and closed circuit television spans 25 years. His extensive knowledge
has been gained in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Far East and the Americas in
a variety of sectors; government, military, health service, blue chip companies,
banking and education.
ECS offers independent advice and support in a
variety of fields; electronic design, security system design, security system
fault analysis, surveying, equipment assessment, risk analysis and training.
ECS undertake extensive research in the field of false alarm management and have
designed and implemented a number of models which companies have adopted to
provide a more efficient and cost effective service.
ECS contributes regular papers and technical
articles on electronic security systems to trade journals. We provide lectures
at colleges of further education and give papers at universities.
